Commissioner Mike Feldstein and I, along with community members involved, have organized an open community meeting to discuss the Bar Charley application for extended hours. The idea is to have a more full discussion than is possible at an ANC meeting, where — because of so many regulatory applications to review — there is often not any opportunity to discuss items for more than about 15 – 20 minutes maximum.
We have secured meeting space at the Dupont Circle Hotel (on Dupont Circle) from 7pm to 9pm on Wednesday, January 15th. We are also inviting representatives from Bar Charley, the Alcoholic Beverage Regulatory Agency, the police, Main Street, the Dupont Circle Citizens Association, and others.
